Facebook is a very popular socialization platform nowadays, and it’s used by both kids and adults alike, that’s why a lot of game developers try to take advantage of this by providing games that cater to the whole family. Royal Story is a game that tries to bring an experience suitable for all ages, in which you build up the castle and empire of your dreams.

Royal Story does try to implement a story, but the story by itself is not that impressive. You basically take the role of a prince or princess that tries to rebuild his/her empire as fast as possible.

In order to do this you will have to take care of a lot of mundane tasks such as clearing land, tending animals, brewing coffee, plating crops, harvesting and so on. Everything you cultivate can be sold for coins, which at their turn can be used to purchase buildings, resources and so on.

The game’s economy is surprisingly good, and it surely adds a lot of variety to the experience, which is more than welcome. On the downside, you will be stuck on your portion of land for a very long time before something interesting happens, as you will always be guided by quests. Sometimes though these quests won’t be exactly what you want to do in order to expand your kingdom.

Even so, the quests are varied overall and you will have a lot of fun. You also receive numerous rewards while playing, most of them being given at certain key points during the game, such as gaining a new level.

You can expand your land by using the money you gain when selling your crops and other stuff produced in the kingdom. Since Royal Story is a free to play game, you do have the ability to pay real money for in-game items in this case rubies. These rubies can be used to unlock special items, speed up the construction process and so on. You do gain free rubies from time but these can’t be acquired fast and they do take a lot of time.

Graphically, this game is simply gorgeous. The characters are beautifully created and there are lots of cute animals at all step in your kingdom. This overall variety makes this game very impressive and quite unique.

Each action takes a certain amount of energy to perform, and this recovers in time. You can either wait or purchase rubies to refill it. You can also ask your friends for energy and gifts too.

In the end, Royal Story is very similar to other castle building titles and it doesn't bring something to make it stand out of the crowd. Even so, the graphics are quite nice and you will spend a lot of time playing, trying to get the best results, bringing your castle to the next level. Royal Story Resumen
